A seller can classified as a grower, broker, jobber, or anyone who deals in selling large produce quantities. This site is not for sellers who are just looking to sell a few boxes of an item. However, a full 18-wheeler load is not required to use this site either since many sellers pack out less than full loads to buyers who mix their loads with other commodities. We suggest that a seller who is looking at selling at least one forth of an 18-wheeler shipment is qualified to be a seller on this network.However, sellers who sell always buy less than full load shipments may be subject to review.We are not as strict on this requirement for sellers as we are for buyers.

Produce-Exchange.com serves to reduce the time that sellers take to place their produce and ornamental shipments. This network will save you dozens of phone calls each day by allowing you to negotiate and sell your shipments online. We encourage you to use this network as your first resource to sell produce shipments and to encourage your buyers to look on this network for you shipments. Buyers will be able to shop on Produce-Exchange for your brand and this will allow each of your customers to know immediately what you have available without you having to call each of your customers.

Posting available produce on Produce-Exchange.com is free.If we do not help you find a buyer for your produce shipment, you owe us nothing. You only pay a nominal fee to Produce-Exchange.com if a buyer locates your produce through our exchange and you enter into a transaction with that buyer. Our seller posting fees are nominal, just $1 per $1,000 or .001 of the entire produce transaction.No fees are charged on a seller’s posting that is not placed through Produce-Exchange.com.
